PSES has completed numerous projects with the Arizona Department of Game and Fish. In most cases our services included design surveys, drainage calculations, construction plans, construction staking, final inspection and project close-out. The specific projects are described below:
Northland Pioneer College (NPC)
PSES has been performing consultant services for Northland Pioneer College for over a decade. For the last two years, we have been working as their on-call engineer and surveyor. PSES Staff has recently prepared construction plans and specifications for three projects for Northland Pioneer College. In each case, the PSES Staff has performed the design survey, prepared construction drawings and specifications, provided bid assistance, construction staking, construction inspection, and final project close-out. The specific projects are described below:
White Mountain Apache Tribe (WMAT)
PSES have been providing design and construction services on the White Mountain Apache Tribal lands for over a decade. Clients have included the White Mountain Apache Tribal Engineering, White Mountain Apache Tribal Public Works, White Mountain Apache Housing Authority, Hon-Dah Casino, and the Whiteriver and Cibecue School Districts. Recent projects for WMAT services provided included design surveys, construction plans and specifications, bid assistance, construction staking, construction inspection, final inspection and project close-out. Specific projects are described below:
Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center
In 2013, we provided construction staking of the Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye center in Show Low, Arizona. We prepared survey staking points prior to our surveyor going to the site to perform the survey. Our Surveyor initially staked building corners so that the contractor could determine the amount of cut/fill required for the site. He also staked the location of the wall as a considerable amount of cut was required along the west property line. The Surveyor certified that the building pad was constructed to subgrade, then we set offsets for the building corners so that the footings could be developed. As the site was brought close to subgrade, the other site features were surveyed. Our Surveyor provided staking for the water, sewer, light poles, stormdrain, culverts and irrigation facilities. Once the underground work was completed and the aggregate base was installed and the site was graded according to the plans, we provided offsets to the sidewalk and the curb and gutter at intervals. PSES coordinated the scheduling of the work and kept of track of the cost budget and services provided.
